New Zealand – Greek composer Ioannis (John) Psathas has a history of large - scale collaborative projects (such as writing for the ceremonies of the Athens 2004 Olympic Games, and collaborating with iconic artists such as Salman Rushdie, Michael Brecker, Joshu a Redman, Serj Tankian, Oum, Michael Houstoun, and many others).

Following three decades of creating works for traditional ensembles (particularly in the world of percussion, and for orchestra) the nature of John's work has now shifted into a space of so cial commentary, combining a range of live performance formats and technologies.

Having collaborated in electronica, pop, classical, jazz, and multi - ethnic projects, he is now weaving these strands into new work that integrates virtuosic live performance with video, text, and cinematic soundscapes.

She spent 13 years as pianist and Director of the mult i - piano ensemble ‘ Piano Circus ’ and performs globally with the UK ’ s most prestigious orchestras and ensembles such as the Colin Currie Group, The Belfast Ensemble, Britten Sinfonia, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Ulster Orchestra, and many others, broadcast regularly on BBC Radio 3 and Classic FM.

Dawn is well known for her highly energetic and inspiring masterclasses on performance and inter - disciplinary collaboration at institutions such the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Royal Northern College of Music and the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. She is the orchestral keyboard tutor for the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, and is a teacher of piano and accompanist at Eton College.

Dawn is a graduate of Chetham ’ s School of Music (Manchester ), the Royal College of Music (London), and holds an Honorary Associateship from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

Fabian Ziegler

Noteworthy engagements include appearances with Martin Grubinger's Percussive Planet Ensemble and acclaimed premieres like Arkadiusz Katny’s Circles for solo percussion and choir, Arash Safaian’s ex machina for solo percussion and orchestra and John Psathas’ The All-Seeing Sky, a double percussion concerto dedicated to Fabian Ziegler and Luca Staffelbach.

In the 2025/2026 season, Fabian will make his U.S. debut with the Helena Symphony performing Joseph Schwantner’s Percussion Concerto, and in Europe he will perform Daniel Schnyder’s Two Worlds concerto with CHAARTS Chamber Artists on tour in Switzerland and Germany, and Arash Safaian’s ex machina with the Argovia Philharmonic in a series of four performances across Switzerland. In the previous 2024/2025 season, Mr. Ziegler made debuts with the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra and Staatsorchester Braunschweig performing different concertos by Dorman, alongside recital performances across South Korea, the United States, Lithuania, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland with repertoire that ranged from classical masters like Ravel to contemporary icons such as John Psathas and Iannis Xenakis.

Katarzyna Mycka

Critics have given the internationally renowned marimba virtuoso and chamber musician Katarzyna Myćka the sobriquet “ she who dances with the mallets ”. Her “ perfect mallet technique ” and “ marvellous , rhythmic precision ” are characteristic for the musician, who performs on a beautiful five - octave concert marimba.

Expert circles testify to her “ extraordinary richness of tone quality ” and “ fascinatingly broad palette of musical effects ” of the marimba. Audiences are also enthralled by the artistic elegance and dance - like energy of her playing.

Stephen Gosling is a member of the New York New Music Ensemble and Talea Ensemble, and a rehearsal and solo pianist at New York City Ballet. George Kariotis is an Athens-based sound engineer, recording engineer, and mixer, best known for his long association with Sierra Studios and for his extensive work across Greek, international, contemporary classical, jazz, world music, and cross-cultural recording projects. Over a career spanning many decades, he has contributed to more than a thousand albums and recording projects, earning a reputation as one of Greece’s most experienced and trusted studio engineers.

George has been a close collaborator of John Psathas for many years. His work with Psathas includes the landmark No Man’s Land project, which brought together musicians from around the world in a large-scale musical response to war, memory, and human connection. He has also worked on a number of Psathas’ other projects recorded and mixed through Sierra Studios in Athens, helping shape the powerful, cinematic, and deeply textural sound worlds that have become central to John’s recent work.

George’s contribution sits at the intersection of technical mastery and musical sensitivity. He brings a calm, intuitive presence to the studio, creating an environment where performers can take risks, listen deeply, and deliver their most honest work.
